Local author Mary Rosenberger grew up in Freedom Village, which claimed to be a Christian home for troubled teens on Seneca Lake. Through its atmosphere of fear, Mary suffered spiritual abuse that shaped her relationship with God. After her family's exodus from Freedom Village in Mary's twenties, she discovered a path for healing and a God of love and grace.
